⚠ Important : Tolerances and margins

Technical fabrics have a manufacturing tolerance of around ±2% on the width. To avoid unpleasant surprises, don't order "too tight".

👉 Pro tip: Always allow a safety margin of around +5% over your strict measurement to ensure good coverage.

1. Width of the Curtain pole Track


For effective insulation, the curtain should not stop right at the edge of the window.

Extend the Curtain pole Track 15 to 20 cm on each side of the opening.

2. Width for Finishing Eyelets (Curtain pole)


To achieve attractive waves, we recommend a fabric width equivalent to 1.5 to 2 times the length of your Curtain pole.

  • Practical examples (width 145 cm) :
  • For a Curtain pole 70 to 95 cm: Take 1 curtain.
  • For a Curtain pole 140 to 190 cm: Take 2 curtains.

3. Width for Gathering tape Finish Gathering tape Track)


Performance tip: The less pleated the curtain, the more surface it covers "flat", which optimizes insulation. However, you can gather it for aesthetic purposes by pulling on the cords.

  • Cover examples:
  • 1 curtain (145 cm) covers a Track 85 cm (very gathered) to 145 cm (flat).
  • 2 curtains (290 cm total) cover a Track 170 cm to 290 cm.

4. Curtain height

  • Placement: Install the Curtain pole 15 cm above the window.
  • Length: Ideally, the curtain should touch the floor or "break" slightly. Add 3 to 5 cm to your measured height to ensure a watertight barrier at the bottom.
