Nokomis acoustic curtains block out sound while preserving the view. Thanks to their special weaving and spinning technology, they absorb five times more noise than conventional transparent curtains. Light, resistant and offering superior acoustic performance, they have an alpha sound absorption coefficient of up to αw 0.8.

To choose the ideal size for your curtains, follow this simple guide:

Rod or rail width :

  • For optimum coverage, the rod or rail should extend 15 to 20 cm beyond the window or door on either side and in height.

Eyelet curtain width (on rod) :

  • For a harmonious pleated effect, use a curtain width equivalent to 2 to 2.5 times the length of the rod.

Gathered curtain width (track-mounted) :

  • To improve performance, we recommend crease-free installation. However, the curtain can be pleated up to 40% by adjusting the cords of the gathering tape.

Curtain height :

  • Positioning the rod or rail: Fix the rod or rail about 15-20 cm above the window or door.
  • Curtain length: add 3 to 5 cm to the measured length for optimum fall.

By following these recommendations, your curtains will adapt perfectly to your openings, combining aesthetics and functionality.
